"IT''S NEVER TOO LATE"
"It's Never 2 Late"
"It's never 2 late to have a happy childhood
or be who you might have been
it's never 2 late when you've had a fight
to make up and still be friends
it's never 2 late to see the light
in the dark days that you'll have
it's never too late to see the good in
somebody you thought was bad

It's never 2 late, it's never 2 late -
no it's never 2 late you see
to go where you go or do what you do
or be who you're here to be
and the banjos play....
It's never 2 late to sing the songs
you've been hearing in your head
it's never 2 late to write the book
that's a blessing when it's read
it's never 2 late to finish,
and it's never 2 late 2 start
it's never 2 late to help someone-
jump in and do your part

it's never 2 late, it's never 2 late ,
no it's never 2 late you'll see
if you can breathe a breath
or think a thought
it's never 2 late you'll see"

prologue;
NOW good people; As for the scientifical parts of music - I know nothing     about it, but I can play...
and thank God a man that can't read the Bible can still pray..
Listen; A man enters this life naked and bare
and goes through life with troubles and care
then departs this life, and goes we know not where
but we know he'll be all right THERE
if he lives all right HERE"    ('Uncle' Dave Macon   "The Dixie Dewdrop")

CI guess there are many notions regarding who amongst our ancestors might have invented 'time'. The Sumerians evidently had some system of measuring it- but we don't really know what it was. Archeologist are in the process of revealing what's left of the Egyptian, Chinese, Aztec and  Incan methods. History says that the first pendulum clock was made in 1656- but the concept had been researched and developed back as far as 1582. Relatively speaking then it hasn't been that long ago in the big picture that someone or some committee decided that we have a need to keep up with time...does anybody really know why???

In 1675 when The Royal Observatory At Greenwich was established 'time'  was considered to be a means of measuring  the earths rotation. Before that maybe somebody figured it would be a good way to keep everything from happening at once. Maybe it was so we'd have a way of measuring our experiences. Maybe somebody just thought it would be a handy gadget for coordinating things. Of course 'time' is most useful in scheduling when we're going to meet or eat or sleep or wake up or go to work and identifying when so-and-so was born and died  or what time is she coming over or when we're going kick the ball or drop the bomb or go to church....Whatever the case,  like most things we invent- as long as it's doing what it's supposed to be doing- serving  us, acting as the coordinating fixture it's intended to be- it's pretty handy. I can't imagine anything that could  work any better than 'time' does at
doing what it does.
The aggravating thing about it is that for a lot of us 'time' has become like a Frankenstein monster; Our creation-'time' -now terrifies and rules us with an iron fist from the first breath we draw  'til the last one we let go of.  Second maybe only to our egos it's  taken on  the role of  a dictator and is our official universal pace setter in the 'civilized world'. We say- "Time waits for no one". Since it's invention 'Time' has even somehow managed to imbue itself with powerful medicinal capabilities; we say "Time heals all wounds"....
Man, the crown jewel of Gods creation, the only creature created in Gods own image- is the only creature on the planet that recognizes 'time' or is affected by it. ....Isn't it a strange coincidence that we are the only creatures in the known world that wears a watch or pays heed to a clock- and we have the hardest time of all creatures getting along or being happy with ourselves and each other??
While we're punching the clock and being punched by it the Sun, Moon, grass, birds, bugs, animals, ocean, fish, plankton,  air, snow, rain, rivers and hurricanes are all managing to be themselves and do exactly what they're supposed to do without having 'time' tell them when they're supposed to be doing it or when to stop. It's evident they were doing their thing before we invented 'time'- and will most likely keep doing it whenever we've run out of uses for 'time' , and retire it like the dinosaurs and the 8 track tapes  ...
Which brings us to the matter of eternity and when 'it's'  supposed to begin...and what if it turns we are wrong about 'time'  and eternity like we've been about Pluto being a planet all along?
I saw a card in the bookstore the other day that asked "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?"... what time would it be if we didn't know what time it is??
I don't know about all this stuff, but there are plenty of quantum physicist and scientist and religions and mystics that believe they do. They all have compelling arguments and statistics and experience-and they all say something different....
Personally  I believe that no matter what's going on-
